We are happy and truly proud to report that the unmistakable beauty of Āraiši was shown to the highest degree! You would ask - to whom? To the best young cross runners in Latvia! On October 12th, next to Āraiši lake at the Āraiši windmill occured Latvian athletics league championship in cross running for U14, U16, U18 and U20 age groups! The track weaved through the scenic sites of Āraiši. More happiness for SC Ašais performance to boot! Two gold medals obtained! Confidently the fastest in their age groups - Roberts Glazers (U18) and Teodors Godiņš (U14)! Stella Paltiņa and Elza Niklase both 4th. Results - here! Photos - here!
